Adam

Adam is getting so big! I can't believe it. I look at these pictures and see I have a little boy that is growing and learning so much. Nothing is boring when Adam is around that is for sure. He is the life of the party, always in a laughing mood and he really love everyone. He cares for others feelings and tries hard already to be understanding of others.

Ox

I love my little Ox. He is adorable! Even with his bruised head, his dirty chin, and his crusty nose,when I look at him it's just pure joy. He is doing great with his potty training. He loves his mommy! His is cuddly. He is always smiling and he is very photogenic. We were painting here at Jeremy and Heidi. These are some of the great pictures she took today.

December?!

So Ya, I haven't blogged for awhile. Can I just say time goes by so fast! I can't believe that November is over and I am now arranging Christmas plans, parties, presents, and lots of birthday things too. Kristi's, Connie's, Marie's, Tori's, Dan's, Shanny's, and Mine are all coming so fast. Kristi is going to have a great B-day bash as usual and hopefully we do something fun for mine this year too.

Potty Training

Ahhh! I have finally decided that it is time for the 2 & 1/2 year old to use the toilet. He has decided it's time to really teach the mom patience.

I know that you can't force your kids to be ready and all kids learn at different ages, but I am tired of the diapers. Adam trained a year earlier than Austin! I know Austin understands the concept, but he either doesn't care or is really trying my patience.

We worked really hard Monday and Tuesday, now it being Wednesday I am tired and he is in a diaper again. Good thing too, because he has had some really runny substance 3 times today. I think he O.D.'ed on the raisins yesterday.

Counting Sheep

Funny thing right now, I am very tired and I should be sleeping, but I just can't. It's 11:30 and I've only been trying for about 40 minutes, but I can tell it's going to be one of those nights when sleep is going to take a few hours to come. Mike's up doing some work so I thought I'd just come keep him company. Pretty soon Brooklynn is going to wake up and need to eat again, so I should be catching up on my zzz's but no can do. I did cheat and take a sleeping pill, but that will also take awhile to kick in. My sweet husband can sleep anytime, any where, with any noise. I will wake up to a pin drop. Darn him. It just gets so frustrating. If I wake up with the kids in the middle of the night, you can trust I am wide awake and it will take me a good while to go to sleep. If I get Mike up to take care of the kids he does it in his sleep. In the morning I will thank him for taking care of the boys, and he will respond, "I did? I don't remember that." It's so funny. Sometime I talk him to sleep. Right now he is probably on his 3rd Dr. Pepper of the night and guess who will be asleep sooner tonight? Oh well I am not too bitter. Got any good advice on how you fall asleep clue me in.

Trip to Vegas

Mine and Michael's anniversary was on Sunday. We celebrated six fun filled years. He surprised me with Phantom of the Opera tickets. We went to Vegas and watched it at the Venetian. It was wonderful! The tickets were expensive, we sat front and center, but it was well worth the cost. I loved it! The acting and singing was awesome, the special effects unbelievable and I could go on. I really felt like I was in the real theater. I highly recommend it. I obviously enjoyed myself.

Hardy Har Har

I thought of a fun idea. For some strange reason I love pirate jokes. With Halloween coming up I thought it would be a great time for everyone to share any funny pirate jokes they know. Let's see if there are any I haven't heard. Did you know that September 19th was talk like a Pirate Day. Wish I would have known that earlier. Oh well.

Iron County Fair

We went to the fair, my kids loved it, Avani not so much. We tried putting her on a lot of things, but it always resulted in screaming tears and usually a short ride. To bad we didn't figure that out before we bought her tickets.

Transformers

The other day I was doing the laundry and Adam came running up stairs. He said, "Brooklynn is crying." I asked him if he could make her happy. He said he could and went to her aid. Two minutes later he said, "Mom, come see I turned Brooklynn into a transformer, and she's so cool." I was worried and ran downstairs, imagining many scary scenarios that he had likely created. Luckily she wasn't harmed and was actually still happy.

Notice my dorky shorts, they told you couldn't see them,oh well. Now that Tori has moved away it's going to be a while before we are all able to get together again. We sure have a lot of fun when we are together. We laugh a ton! (Sure missed you this weekend Tori.)

May Babies

Brooklynn is our third baby. Yes, once again it's in May. Michael says it's because he is "irresistible" in August. I'm not too sure of that, I mean he is always irresistible;)
With all the kids birthdays in May I just want some ideas of what others do to help their kids feel important for their birthday. Please let me know of any good traditions that you have that work for you.

Learning to blog

This blogging thing is a lot harder than I thought it was. Everyone acts like it is easy, but it is not for me. There are so many things I would like to do and put on here, but am clueless as to how. I have to call my sister every time I want to ad things and she has to walk me through it. PS thanks for the help Kristi. She did everything that a kindergartner couldn't do. Wish I could figure out how to shrink pictures.
